Kalkara had the best from the match beating our youth in a match continuously misjudged by the linesman. Mtarfa once again demonstrated a great performance but where held from penetrating kalkara defenders for offside decision for which the majority were misjudged.
It took two minutes for kalkara to open the score but five minutes after striker Cleaven Mizzi made the score one all till the end of first half.
The second half continued on the same track of badly decisions by the linesman, followed with yellow and red cards shooting like falling stars to Mtarfa Players. Kalkara on the fifty two minutes regain advantage and ten minutes after closed the match 3-1. Mtarfa played last minutes in ten men follow the expulsion of Cleaven Mizzi, with keeper Paul Briffa suffering breathlessly following a dangerous foul not given by the referee during the first half who had to be treated at the hospital. Mudy was forced to be substitute for badly injury. Finally with the final whistle blow, Francesco joined the injury list.
